The biggest SF foodie @cyneats

Cynthia is the co-founder of The Violet Fog, a popular San Francisco based publication, where she runs the foodie column CynEats. Along with the column, the CynEats Instagram is enough to get anyone drooling out of the side of their mouth. But food isn’t her only love- she also writes about travel, culture, beauty, and a whole lot more. Oh, and she’s Bay Area born and raised. So she’s got local street cred around here

The next stop is at B. Patisserie in Pac Heights. As soon as you walk into B. Patisserie, you’ll see cute marbled table tops, vases of fresh flowers, slim yellow chairs, desserts & pastries coming fresh out the oven, and an open kitchen where you can watch all the magic happen. PS: Get the Kouign Amann filled with chocolate

If it’s a warm enough day, I’ll head to the Mission and spend the afternoon at Dolores Park.  It’s a fun, inexpensive activity and provides for some super entertaining people watching– it’s SF, never a dull moment right? PS: Go to the Bi-Rite market to pick up some snacks, and of course- a fresh cold drink in hand.

After you’ve had enough at the park, walk to Tartine Bakery for some real food. Tartine Bakery is an SF staple and is known for their amazing pastries and desserts. They’ve also been featured on NY Times, SF Gate, Wall St. Journal, Oprah Magazine… and the extensive list goes on. PS: Get the morning buns and lemon tart. Soooooo good!

Then I’ll end the day at Lands End to catch the sunset!
